Title: What a Fan We Are of Jesus Text: John 1:1-3 Proposition: Strive to be a friend of Jesus and not just a fan. Introduction: Our new sermon series is a biography taken from the Bible. In fact, there are four biographies written on this very important person, who not only put his life on the line so others could have the gospel, he actually ended up being murdered for it. The biographies are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and the person is Jesus. I have entitled this biography series, The Chronology of Christ. Our goal will be to gain a personal sense of who Jesus is through the reading of what the Gospel writers recorded.
