Sunday Bulletin: April 28, 2019
Here are the latest happenings at NESBC!!!
We are praising the Lord for gifting us the largest Sacrifice Sunday offering we have ever had. The Lord blessed us with $10,139.05. The church provided the Lewis family with a new washer and dryer. The communion and offering plates came in yesterday. If you know of local office space that may be available, please see Pastor Tim. We have also contacted a carpenter about building a new pulpit. Thank you to all who made this possible. To God be the glory.
Midweek Schedule Adjustment
Since Striving for the Mastering Training Conference is taking place next weekend, there will be no midweek services this week. Please pray for the speakers who are preparing and for all those traveling to the conference. Midweek services will resume on May 8th and 9th. There will also not be a Sunday fellowship lunch or afternoon service next week.
New Wednesday Night Series
Join us on May 8th for the start of a new series on the Life of Joseph from the book of Genesis. We will also launch a new format for Wednesday evenings consisting of 30-minute Bible lessons with the rest of the time devoted to prayer.
Pastor Tim and Andee will be leading a biweekly parenting class beginning on May 16 at the mid-state Bible study hosted by the Tubbs on Thursdays. If you are interested in attending, please see Pastor Tim since there are materials that are necessary for the class.
Spring Cleaning Sunday
On the Sunday afternoon of May 19, we request all members who are physically able to help do a spring cleaning in place of the afternoon service.
