OUR SHEPHERD
The Lewis Family:
Pastor Tim, Andee, Judson, & Reagan
Meet Pastor Tim! He’s a true New Englander, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and spent his childhood in the beautiful state of New Hampshire. During his time at Bob Jones University, Tim met Andee, who’s from Montana. They tied the knot in 2001 and Tim decided to pursue his passion for theology by enrolling in seminary. He graduated in 2005 from Virginia Beach Theological Seminary with a Master of Biblical Studies and then returned to his beloved New Hampshire to work as a pastoral apprentice.

The Lewises became heavily burdened for the New Hampshire Seacoast because of its high population and the limited number of Bible-preaching churches. In February 2010, Tim and Andee started private Bible studies with the help of their sister churches and the Gospel Fellowship Association. They officially opened NESBC on September 26, 2010. The Lord blessed the Lewises with the birth of Judson in 2010 and Reagan in 2014
Tim’s mission is to stay true to the Bible by interpreting it literally and in its original context. He believes in teaching the Bible clearly and concisely, explaining its historical background, and serving as a caring leader, not just a business manager. He pays special attention to the original languages and enjoys teaching young preachers how to preach. Tim also dedicates himself to discipling and training other pastors through conferences, particularly Shepherds’ Haven.

OUR DEACON
Dale & Ruth Tubbs
Dale and Ruth Tubbs have been serving the Lord together in both life and ministry for over 51 years. In their early years of marriage God used them in vocational ministry with Dale as the pastor of several churches. He faithfully preached the Word with a commitment to truth and Ruth served alongside him both in the home raising their young family and in the church in various ministries.
As the years went on and God moved them away from vocational ministry the theme of faithfulness and commitment to serving the Lord continued in their jobs, their local church, and their home. In the workplace Dale was known for his faith and was able to share the gospel often. Ruth worked as a nurse for 50 years where she was known for her compassion and love which gave her ample opportunity to tell patients and their families of the hope that lies within her.
In NESBC, you will find them humbly filling needed roles from teacher to nursery worker and many in between. In the home, God blessed them with four children whom they consistently pointed back to Him. The Gospel was a constant theme in their home and it made a lasting impact on their children. In their retirement, they have continued their ministry to the local church and their family including their now 22 grandchildren. In recent months they celebrated 51 years of marriage. Dale and Ruth are a beautiful example of faithful service motivated by a love for their Savior.
