About the event

The Annual Camp Meeting played a significant role in the spiritual revivals of historic New England. Families from hundreds of miles around poured into campgrounds once a year for worship, singing, preaching, and fellowship. The Newmarket, NH Camp Meeting grew so large that its 18,000 people had to move to Epping, NH! What would it have been like to see that many people assemble to listen to God's Word, or have families sit around the campfire teaching the youth about the things of God? These camp meetings eventually died out and are now forgotten.

NESBC has decided to bring back an Annual Camp Meeting each September that focuses on the teaching of God's Word in a casual, camping setting. This environment provides access to the great outdoors, fishing, boating, making fire, and survival skills, but it also presents the opportunity to disciple the next generation away from the busyness of daily life by spending time in God’s Word. Camp is an opportunity to take a break from television, computers, jobs, and routine tasks to fellowship, sing, worship, and serve with other Bible-believing Christians. Daily preaching and quiet times are interspersed with food and fun. For those who are not interested in camping overnight, please visit us during the day. You are welcome to independently rent a cabin just a few miles away if you prefer not to camp out.

The campground we use is rustic and limited to tent camping or popups. RVs and pets are not allowed. The camp sites do not have water or electricity hookups, but both are easily accessible. Showers are about 1.5 miles away, but modern bathrooms are on site at the pavilion in the middle of the camp. All gatherings, meals, and services will be held at the pavilion. Grills are provided for cooking if needed.

When: Friday September 20, 2024 1:00pm through Sunday September 22, 2024 3:00pm.
