Here are the latest happenings at NESBC!!!
Ask The Pastor
We will resume regular midweek Bible studies this week and attempt to finish up Ask the Pastor. If we are able to do so, we will begin a new series next week entitled, Creation Questions. It will be based on some of the curriculum from Answers In Genesis.
Defusing Drama: Choosing Peace Over Pandemonium
A drama queen is a person who either amplifies or creates unnecessary emotional upheaval as a coping mechanism resulting in a lack of self-control. If we are honest, we all fall into this trap at one time or another. Satan can use unnecessary drama to disrupt and even destroy individuals, families, and whole churches. This weeks session will examine the importance that prayer must play in the believer’s life.
A Lighthouse For Christmas
Join us on December 16 at 2:00pm for our annual Christmas Fellowship. We will begin the afternoon with festive snacks and hot chocolate. Please bring your favorite Christmas dessert. We will also have a traditional White Elephant Gift Exchange. You may not purchase a gift. You must already own it (the funnier the better). As dusk sets in, we will make our way to the local lighthouses that are decorated for Christmas. We will end the evening by touring downtown Portsmouth and seeing the lights and Christmas tree.
A Seacoast Christmas
We warmly invite you to join us for an afternoon of traditional Christmas music on Sunday, December 23rd at 2:00pm. The afternoon will feature music and worship ministered by our own church children and families. Who would you like to invite to attend this year to enjoy the music, and hear a clear gospel message from the true meaning of Christmas? Start praying now and ask the Lord to place someone on your heart.
